Narrated film

This is one of those films that if it wasn't narrated it wouldn't makemuch sense. Almost everything is explained with voice-over. It becomesvery annoying...why is Bradley Cooper's character talking to us...therewas no set-up for this. In old movies, the character at least is shownto be in a police station at the beginning of a film and we see himtelling a story to the cops.Despite the narration, the film is mildly interesting with it's premiseof a drug that makes one super-aware. The picture moves along at aquick pace until 3/4 the way through, where lots of loose ends are tiedup a little too neatly and a little too conveniently.

Has potential, fails to deliver

This movie could have been named, "Potential". We went to this movie ina theatre thinking that it was going to be a really interesting movieabout brain possibilities. Many people have already commented on whatsort of things were illogical about this movie so I won't repeat them.My husband and I were both very disappointed because while it had somegood special effects, the storyline was poorly written, the characterswere weak, and the ending was pathetic. We kept waiting for somethingto happen that was even slightly believable and it didn't. Then it justended. It would have been better named as "Endless". We could give it alittle higher mark for the special effects, but because there was suchgreat promising topic and then such a let down it gets a "1".

A very good thriller, ruined by the ending

Limitless is somehow similar to two other movies i watched: Deja Vu andThe Adjustment Bureau. All of these movies are pretty good, but theyare ruined by a quick, non-explain, Hollywood-y, happy ending. (If youwatched any of these movies, you know what i am talking about.) If youhaven't watched any of these movies i can tell you that Limitless is apretty good thriller that makes you feel thrilled, what a thrillershould do. Using the urban legend of humans not using 100% of theirbrain and a pill that can do so, the story is pretty good, but asagain, the ending isn't so. Howewer, there also some other positivepoints in the movie: interesting action scenes, director'smusic-video-y scenes, an unexpectedly good performance by BradleyCooper... but as again, the ending pretty much ruins the wholeimpression.

Full Frontal Lobity

Bradley Cooper takes a pill that makes him even sexier. Now how is thateven possible? LIMITLESS is a breezy fantasy about a shiftless writer, Eddie Morra(Cooper), who is given a mysterious pill that allows him to access 100%of his brain, instead of the usual 20%. A super-man tale (or, in thecase of Cooper, a super man-tail) where the protagonist is suddenlyfaster, smarter, stronger; a regular Steve Austin (without theboing-oing-oing-oing sounds). The pill uninhibits his brain's retention and recall, allowing him toaccess any information he has ever come in contact with, evenperipherally. He discovers its utility in the manliest of ways, as he talks hislandlord's wife into bed after screeching at him for the rent:"Information from the odd museum show, a half-read article, some PBSdocumentary; it was all bubbling up into my frontal lobes, mixingitself together into a sparkling cocktail of useful information!... Shedidn't stand a chance." He wasn't high, wasn't wired. Just clear. Heknew what he needed to do and how to do it. On the pills, he thinks ofhimself as Enhanced Eddie. His social circle suddenly includes stockbrokers and Euro adventurers;his book gets written in four days; his rocket-synapsed mind allows himto explode his income tracking stock trends; income augmented bycounting cards at the blackjack table. Women, cars, private jets... Hewins back his girlfriend (Abbie Cornish) and gets involved in a globalcorporate merger... And his eyes turn an even sexier shade ofpreternatural baby blue. But being dependent on the illegal pills (known as NZT - had to have a'Z' for action-movie cred), supplied by his drug-dealing, murdered,ex-brother-in-law, means that when the pills run out...Movie smartly intertwines a clutch of mysterious characters that orbitEddie, all somehow connected with the pills or their results. Robert DeNiro as corporate raver Carl Van Loon; Andrew Howard as a fearsomeRussian mobster; a constant tail shadowing him (Tomas Arana - not hisown Enhanced man-butt); and a detective (Brian Anthony Wilson) thatisn't fully convinced Eddie didn't murder his ex-brother-in-law.When Eddie's ex-wife (Anna Friel) contacts him, we learn of the fullspectrum of the pill's affects, including the coming crash...When he is mugged, we see Eddie accessing his memories for old BruceLee films and even snippets of self-defense videos he saw in passing astore window, bringing it all to bear in a cool, studied trouncing ofhis assailants. That's why this film works - we want to be this guy.Even for a few moments. We'd all give up some degree of security, sanity and safety for one chance - (as Mel says in BRAVEHEART) Just OneChance - to live the life that our youth and dreams promised us. Let'sface it: we'd give up almost anything to be "the perfect version ofourselves." Interesting to note that when Eddie wakes after his first pill wearsoff, he laments his unenhanced state, "I was back." Later, only when hegets a pill into him does he say, "I was back," meaning he nowconsiders Enhanced Eddie his true self. Unwitting commentary on thosewho rely on Zoloft, Valium, Prozac, or any medications (from aspirin toheroin) to consider themselves able to function correctly, as their"true selves." LIMITLESS is a very plausible science fiction story (almost HarlanEllison or Robert Heinlein), written by novelist Alan Glynn, directedby Neil Burger (THE ILLUSIONIST) with some nice disorienting cameratricks, good pacing and solid story twists. It never gets too dark, even when the Russians are trying to kill Eddie by "cutting your skinat the waist and pulling it over your head. You don't die from thecuts, you die from suffocation." But it does have a gut-punch vomitmoment when a dead Russian's blood is seeping towards Eddie on thefloor and he realizes that the last of the NZT is in that Russian'sblood, so in a classic junkie move - he starts slurping the seepage!...Can I get a big helping of "EUUURW!" with a side order of AIDS please?

The premise of the movie is based on a myth, but still it's amazing.

Contrary to popular belief, we humans do use virtually 100% of our brain. But if you can get past that as most people do believe we use 10% of our brain, you will enjoy this movie. Basically the point of it is, what if you became 90% smarter than you were before.Limitless is based off the 2001 book called "The Dark Fields" by Alan Glynn. The story centers around Eddie Morra(Bradley Cooper), a wannabe writer who somehow has a writing contract, yet he hasn't written one word of his expected novel, he is dumped by his girlfriend (Abbie Cornish), who as she put it was his "cleaning lady" and his "bank". So basically Eddie is a washed up bum. But then as a chance of fate, he runs into his ex brother-in-law, Vernon,(Johnny Whitworth) a drug dealer who gives him a pill nicknamed NZT that he says will enhance his creativity and cause him to use 100% of his brain. At first Eddie seems skeptical but decides to take the pill. Surprisingly the pill works, and Eddie becomes so smart he is able to write his entire novel in 4 days. Eddie comes to find Vernon to get more pills, and Vernon tells him to get his laundry and bring him breakfast first, Eddie finishes the errands and returns to Vernon's apartment to find the place torn apart and Vernon murdered. Knowing whoever done this must have been looking for Vernon's stash, Eddie searches all over and finally finds the pill and some cash inside the oven. With his huge supply of pills and some starting capital, Eddie is able to find secret formulas in the stock market and make a ton of cash in just a few days. A big investor, Carl Van Loon,(Robert De Niro) becomes very interested in him. Eddie feels he is on top of the world, but there are still some problems. The drug is highly addictive and if he stops taking it he realizes he loses his intelligence and he becomes very sick. The drug has strange side effects such as loss of time, and black outs. Also, a strange man keeps following him, and even tries to kill his girlfriend when she has the pills on her to bring to Eddie when he is suffering from NZT withdrawal. As the movie progresses, Eddie has to deal with all the people that want his drug, and he has to keep finding ways to get more. He discovers billionaire investors that made all their money because of this incredible drug. He pays scientists to figure out the ingredients and make more, so that he has a limitless supply to support is limitless intelligence. This movie caught my attention because of the idea that you could be so incredibly smart that you could become the richest person on the planet, the president of the United States, every woman would want you, the possibilities would be limitless(hence the name, but everything comes at a price, and at the end of the day it would a drug you were taking, and we all know the consequences of drugs. I'm now interested in reading the novel which I may review next. But if you haven't seen this movie yet you're in for a real treat.

Pleasantly Surprised

I realize the full release for this film is 2 days away, so this reviewcan't go into any specifics or great detail (don't want to giveanything away). Walking into the theater, I didn't have any loftyexpectations. There's a delicate balance with adding futuristictechnology and/or sci-fi to a modern day setting. Many movies take itto a level so unrealistic it just gets silly and ruins the plot (e.g.Eagle Eye). However, Limitless focuses more on the characters and themeto carry the film. Bradley Cooper is very convincing in the beginningas the "before" version of himself, and you find yourself routing forhim in an old fashioned good vs evil way, without him being the perfectprince charming type. Each character has the "everday person" layerswhich keeps the movie grounded enough to watch it as if it was reallypossible to be in those situations. In the end, you'll be askingyourself just that, "What would I do in that situation?" There's acouple holes left open in the theory of "the pill" and with whatcould/would really happen if it was real life, but I guess that wouldbe expected in a movie about a fictional technology. Overall, Recommended - A good 7 out of 10.

BUT WHO KILLED THE BLONDE???

An intriguing concept forms the plot for LIMITLESS: a drug that enables its user to utilize 100% of his brain---the possibilities are limitless. The film is highly involving as star Bradley Cooper convincingly leads us on a whirlwind journey through financial success and drug dependency and the inevitable withdriawal. You don't know whether Cooper is a hero or a villain. Does his dependence inspire or disgust us?Robert DeNiro is effectively sinister as a corporate giant who wants to use Cooper to implement his long term goals. Lovely Abbie Cornish isn't given a lot to do but she gives it her best. The drug-induced states are cleverly staged, director Neal Burger using color and lighting to establish the drug's effects.LIMITLESS is ultimately Cooper's film and carries it well. With his piercingly blue eyes, swaggy confidence and unflinching honesty, Cooper proves there's more to him than THE HANGOVER.

I wasn't interested in the movie until I actually watched it. Phenomenal.

Limitless is one of those movies I was really interested to see, untilI read the synopsis. Wow a pill that allows you to use 100% of yourbrain.....LAME! It was with some hesitation that I rented the film butthe next two hours I was entranced by a movie that is impeccable.Everything about the film sings, the characters, the acting, the plotall expertly crafted, guiding the audience through an incrediblerags-to-riches story that is far more entertaining than the clichémight seem.Eddie Mora ( Bradley Cooper) is a writer, well he wants to be oneanyway. He has a book deal but just can't seem to get over his writer'sblock, or organize his apartment, or pay the rent, or keep hisgirlfriend, or do anything else constructive with his life. He's not atotal failure but is one step away from becoming one. All of thatchanges when he bumps into his shady ex-brother-in-law (JohnnyWhitworth) who happens to have the answer to all his creative problems. When Mora takes one little pill, everything changes. His thoughtsbecome clearer, everything he ever half-read is remembered, cataloged, and ready for use in his now perfectly running mind. He becomesmotivated, he knows what to do and how to do it, the possibilities forhim become Limitless, especially after he joins forces with energymogul Carl Van Loon (Robert De Niro).I know, I know, it still sounds lame, but trust me, it isn't. Much likeZodiac (not The Zodiac which sucks big time) Limitless is a great film, mostly because it is made so well made, which elevates the subjectmatter to a whole other level. The drug isn't perfect, Eddie Mora'slife becomes filled with intrigue, danger, mystery and murder and hisnewly found intelligence is both the cause and the cure. Check outLimitless, you won't regret it.

Love the movie dont' buy the Blu Ray.

The previews cannot be fast forwarded, skipped, proceed to top or main menu so if you stop the movie you have to sit through 9 minutes of previews before you get to the menu. This is a deal breaker. Let the Blu Ray MFGs (not it's not dirty but manufacturers) know this is not acceptable. A dead horse head in their bed should do.

Not bad

I am not much of a movie goer. This was entertaining. I got into the movie right away. I have a short attention span. I recently started to watch Battle LA.Within 15 minutes, he takes the pill. Some flaws to the movie. Good ending.

Extremely Limited

The premise, a writer takes a drug that unlocks his brain'sperformance, seems promising. But the script never comes close to thestory's potential. The plot is dull at best. Bad guys everywhere. Thestory's slow pace and limitless repetition are eclipsed only bygratuitous graphic images and scenes. The writing is not only weak, butextremely predictable. The only suspense is the vain hope that themovie will get better. It never does.I love good stories and great films and quality acting. This filmcontains none of those elements. Robert De Niro has reached a new low.Such a disappointment. But worse, the screenplay depicts gore and useslanguage at levels way beyond the PG-13 rating. The best part of the film is the opening credits. Very cool effects. In my lifetime I've only walked out on two films. This was the secondone. And I shouldn't have wasted as much time as I did.

Pretty dull movie

This is an interesting concept with too many problems within. Here is a pill that makes you smart yet somehow Cooper always has problems! He didn't know he was out of pills until he grabed the last one. Never occured to him? He forgot to pay his loan shark back with his millions of dollars of profit? The worst of course, is that he successfully predicted a texting driver would crash into another car. Out of all ways and means to prove this guy is brilliant, the movie has to resort to complete random chance. Not to say it was terrible - it was entertaining but too many scenes threw me off. It's a problem to have a genius run into problems he could have easily avoided. The final scene is Cooper chewing down on De Niro when in fact that speech should be geared toward the audience, not some small character we don't care about and can't connect to. There were not enough connections to everyday events (people) to engage us.It's enjoyable but I wouldn't say go out of your way to see it.

A Nutshell Review: Limitless

The film is based on a sexy premise of having the ability to unlock thefull potential of one's brain matter, and think about it, the sheermental prowess available to be tapped on to maximize benefits in almosteverything you do. Would you do whatever it takes to have this at yourdisposal, even if it means becoming a drug junkie, addicted to a clearpill and of course addicted to the feeling of superiority that comesalong with the turf? For Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper), a chance encounter with a drugpushing brother in law Vernon (Johnny Whitworth) meant an opportunityto go for broke with the offer of a pill that can dramatically changeone's life for the better. Soon Eddie finds himself being able to thinkclearly, plan multiple steps ahead in what he wants to achieve out oflife, from financial stability to getting his relationship with Lindy(Abbie Cornish) back on track, to just about possessing that Midastouch to being successful, recognized, and earning the kind of respectfrom his peers that his sad little existence never thought was remotelypossible. But the best things in life don't come easy, and Limitless is in twominds to being a cautionary tale about drug abuse and the over relianceof medication to get through one's day, or being adamant against thatto promote that pill popping is indeed a wondrous shortcut to allthings beautiful. In fact it walked on ambiguity for the most parts, though the engaging narrative by Leslie Dixon adapting Alan Glynn'snovel keeps that at the back of your mind as you follow the adventuresof Eddie Morra making it through obstacles every step of the way, especially when he so decides to build a nest egg before his supplygoes out.Director Neil Burger fused a number of special effects to the film, whose editing between the trippy scenes and the real world wasflawlessly mesmerizing, as you can imagine just how addictive it couldactually be if it was to be presented in an IMAX 3D format, right fromthe opening credits scene. What turned out to be slightly weak was thepresentation of the side effects of NZT-48, which was the losing trackof time through multiple encounters with self, since it didn't employthe best use of visual effects to portray just that, and having thenarrative conveniently forget and to switch focus to certain death, probably sounded a death knell that this was a subplot best leftabandoned, rather than to exploit the limitations of a sustained use orabuse of a shady substance.Bradley Cooper is slowly but surely turning into a major leading starwho will probably be able to soon marquee a film on his own. He playsthe writer turned suave Wall Street raider with aplomb, and portraysboth the zeros about being an addict, and the better versions of hischaracter convincingly, being a man who on one hand builds up a wealthof knowledge and analytical skills through his unfair advantage, and onthe other still shows a certain vulnerability stemming from beingoverly confident with an air of invincibility. Adversary comes in theform of a tycoon in Carl Van Loon (Robert De Niro), whose power andthreats do not suffer fools, and De Niro still shows he's got it in himto play a nasty badass after a string of comedic appearances. The bestscene in the film, hands down, belongs to the repartee between Eddieand Carl in the final act, at least up until the abrupt mention of adeus ex machina type revelation that exalts the merits of a continuedsuccumbing to an addiction. The story does take some unexpected turn of events to keep things freshrather than to make Eddie Morra a one man Superman, and it builds onhis conscience to break his cycle and to do the right thing. Sometimesit's easier said than done especially if what's wrong actually becomesa necessary evil and a crutch to continue sustaining a lifestyle ofone's choosing. A little bit dark in treatment, but still recommendedfare.

Another misunderstood movie by most viewers.

Once in a while the protagonist is a villain and most viewers justdon't get it because the low moral standard. Brad Copper was handsome, charming, very smart, speaks multiple languages. However he used hisnewly found brain power for totally selfish reason. He showed noremorse after killing an innocent woman. At the end he wanted morepower over others by running for senator. He's a pure evil.I couldn't believe that most audiences rooting for this wicked selfishman. He robbed his dead friend without seeking revenge for him. Hecheated his girlfriend with many others. He killed an woman withoutfacing the consequences. He ratted out the lawyer and helped to killhim. Could you name one thing that he did for the benefit of others?None. Most people can tell that Hitler was an evil man. But they can't tellthat a totally selfish person without conscience has a thirst for poweris a devil too.A cautionary tale lost in your average stupid viewers.

Original, creative, enjoyable

I feel it needs to be said that this is a superhero movie. We've had amyriad of superhero movies in recent years, but only a handful (e.g.the first Iron Man) were films where it seemed to me cast and crew werenot fast asleep but actually cared about what they were doing. This isdefinitely an example of that rare breed. It is one of those movieswhere you spend the entire length of the film NOT noticing that it is asuperhero movie, and quite possibly this will not dawn on you even onthe ride home, because the subject matter is handled seriously: thecharacters are 3d life-like people; the plot has life-like complexity;there is ambiguity and room for interpretation. Somebody cared. I hadmy doubts, going in, whether Bradley Cooper can pull this one off. Hesure can. Other actors are also at the top of their game. (I don't feelI need to pick out De Niro in particular, here.)So, the good: Original, creative writing. Original, creative, beautifulcinematography. Original, creative direction. Interesting throughout.Believable, except when it isn't trying to be. Good pacing. Well acted. The bad: Some scenes stretch credulity. Most by just a little. Thefore-last scene is over the top. I loved it. (My wife said: "They'retrying to pull a Tarrantino. Right?" and they were.) I can't blameanyone who says this scene ruined the movie for him. It isn'tbelievable. It isn't consistent with the rest. But it's definitelywhere the roller-coaster that is this movie is at its most extreme. Bycontrast, the last scene left me with a feeling of something missed. It's like the script saves the best for the sequel. So, unfortunately, this movie doesn't have an ending that makes youforgive it for everything else. Quite on the contrary. It just happensto be so good that I was willing to forgive it its bad ending.

An excellent sci-fi thriller that takes you to the limit

Limitless is for me one of the most original and best sci-fi thrillersto come out in years. This tells the story of first off dishevelledwriter Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) who lounges in his small messyapartment trying to start his latest novel but unable to do as hesuffers from writers block. He is like this for weeks, which turns intomonths where his current girlfriend Lindy (Abbie Cornish) ends theirrelationship because of the way he is. By chance on the street Eddieends up running into his ex-wife's brother Vernon (Johnny Whitworth)who previously dealt in drugs but now works as a consultant for apharmaceutical company. He offers Eddie a chance to sort his life outby offering him a drug MDT that can access one hundred percent of hisbrain instead of just the normal human capacity of twenty per cent. Hetakes it and develops super-human powers where he finds he can finishhis book in a speed he never thought before. When the drug runs out inhis system, he goes back to Vernon for more but finds he's dead. Hethen takes the rest of his stash and starts living the high life ofbeing brilliant at everything like he can speak any language and is anexpert at finances and the stock market. Due to this he ends up workingfor Carl Van Loon (Robert De Niro). As Eddie continues taking the drughe starts to develop problems like the drug's side effects and the facta drug dealer wants the drug to take and sell to his customers. This film really does take you to the limit with an interestingpremise. If you had a chance to take MDT to get what you wanted in lifewould you? If you wanted to do something you knew you could neverachieve and taking that drug would help you get it, would you? Thisconcept is explored well to an extent as we start to see Eddie losecontrol of himself. The thing is it would have been better if the filmhad gone further. How was MDT created? Who created it? What are it'sexact ingredients? But despite this I still absolutely loved this film.Apart from a great story as I said with an interesting premise, it isfantastically shot with some very interesting and unconventional camerashots (particular at the opening credits) which makes it refreshinglydifferent. The pace and tone of the film flew by in terms of somegripping action sequences and plot developments. This had the greatnotion for me of there never being a dull moment as it developed intounexpected directions. The script was smart and quick-whippedthroughout, the music was excellent and the acting was superbparticularly by Bradley Cooper who was really convincing in his rolewith a terrific supporting performance from De Niro and Abbie Cornishwho made the most of the little time she had on screen. I loved this film from start to finish as it was terrificallyentertaining. Originally I wasn't going to see this but I changed mymind and I'm glad I did. Limitless is the fourth best movie I have seenthis year. And I am pleased with the 7.4 IMDb rating it has received sofar though it should be higher. Saying that not everyone will like thisfilm, but I did. Just see this for yourself and make up your own mind. But for me it took me and reached it's limit.

Limitless: Is a little more limited then expected

Review for Limitless Okay this movie can be summed in one major theme:drug addiction! This movie is a film that glorifies drugs and therewards that they seem to offer. The film starts off with a quick shotof the current predicament our protagonist is in, played by BradleyCooper. After that we get into a quick introduction into the messed uplife of our character which is shot in a grayish and dismal tone. Thesetting and camera work are appropriate for the introduction, but in adark theater setting can make you more tired than interested in themovie. However, we are quickly and randomly introduced to hisex-brother in law who quickly gets him hooked on the miracle pill. Thisintroduction is very random and not strong suited, but again it's aboutbeing addicted to drugs not how he gets into it. Things pick up fromthere and the effects of the drug are seen in a quick flash of colorand light. A majority of the scenes show him studying his business workor partying with various drunks and clients, which reminds me of anexpensive take of Jersey Shore. Eventually Robert De Niro's charactercomes in and plays the role of the arrogant, harsh, over the topbusiness man who becomes the man focus of Cooper's character. Once wesee this guy, things begin to pick up and we start diving into theharsh reality of a drug addict, which is extraordinarily portrayed bythe characters in this movie. The movie then becomes a portrayal offighting the greed and drive for success and the desire for breakingthe addiction which can be exciting and boring depending on the scenes.Throughout the movie we also see a random guy who is a combinationslasher/stalker throughout the movie, that really isn't explained wellin the movie. The first strength of this movie is the makeup and actingthat combine to make characters who look and seem to be dependent ondrugs. This combination draws you into the story and setting and keepsyou interested in the character and helps relate to the struggle.Combine this with the strong musical score and the fantastic camerashots and you have made a fantastic scene that captures the sufferingthe characters have. Some of the scenes that show the enlightenment ofthe drug are creative as well, but mainly weird and a little confusingat some points when we see multiple versions of the character on thepill. The suspense of the chase scenes makes the film exciting at somepoints and the 'action' scene at the end gets your heart racing andyour pulse up. There were also some fun one liners that kept the moviefun, and helped relieve the depression that hit at some points in themovie. The biggest weakness is the glorifying of drugs and that they can bebeneficial to your overall success in the world. This motif is nottrue, at least not on this level, and this approach could make peoplewant to do drugs. Unfortunately many people who see this movie may beeasily swayed into taking drugs that promise benefits, which could leadto some problems. Just like Glee makes fun of serious issues, thismovie makes fun of drug abuse and seems to reward such careless use ofthe drugs, which I disagree with. Another thing that was not appealingwas some of the camera work used in this movie. Although most of it wasgood, there were some computer camera effects that could make peopledizzy or give headaches if you are affected by this. The zooming in ofthe various walkways and streets is a creative representation ofgetting to the destination, but may be more of a motion sickness cursethan a blessing. Continuing on, it was surprising to see that De Niro'scharacter had such a minor role in this movie, really being nothingmore than a greedy business man in search of power. It's not his bestrole in my opinion, but he does play is solidly capturing that greedyeye with a strength he had harnessed. Next are some of the cheesysolutions and actions the characters made when on the drug, as it madethem seem superhuman. I guess if you had access to a 100% of the brainyou would have great processing power, but that doesn't mean they canrun faster or punch with super karate moves. That to me was a littlecheesy. Another flaw is the grotesque and ridiculous scene near the endof the movie where a big fight breaks out and the character has todrink blood to get his dose of the drug. Some may like this sort ofscenario made famous by SAW, but that's not my cup of tea. Some of thecharacters introduced, such as the stalker, were either pointless orextremely compelling, but the movie did not really tie them to thestory very well. Finally the ending is a little bit cheesy and fake, which mocks the tone the movie was setting up and again furtherglorifies that drug abuse and addiction lead to better outcomes inlife. Overall the movie is just fine it is suspenseful and intense atmany times, yet really slow and dragged out at other times. Some of thescenes are very graphic and intense; sometimes leading me to believe itshould be Rated R not PG-13. Still the acting is superb and most of thecamera work brings the movie to life for the most part. Overall I wouldgive this movie a 7 for a solid capture of drug addiction, yet notfulfilling the promise that it made in the trailers at the beginning ofthe movie.

Is Good, only good.

This review is from: Limitless (Unrated Extended Cut + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray) Is a fantasy film, not fiction, the idea about a pill is very elemental not apport nothing new, has a good Art Director, good actor.
